Laser Coder/Printer

The print is performed by a laser which usually removes a darker area of the label to create a code formed by the lighter area beneath.

If a label has darker areas the code can be made there, or the label is preprinted with a dark area (box) and the code/barcode is printed within.

Due to the fact that the characters are formed electronically, laser printing can print “real time” information, graphics and barcodes.
